In this article, we briefly explain the process of programming the CGDI ESL emulator for the Mercedes-Benz C200 W204. The process is similar to programming emulators from other manufacturers, including the older versions of VVDI.
First, we connect the Xhorse KTP Key Tool Plus Pad to the CGDI ESL emulator. The program will prompt us to first read the password. It is important to note that, unlike some other emulators such as VVDI, CGDI does not require erasing the original data before writing.
Before programming, the system will ask us to read and calculate the password. To do this, enter the automatic identification mode and agree to the proposed actions. After a short wait, the program calculates and displays the password.
3. Connecting the Adapter:
Next, we connect the adapter and confirm the connection. Ensure the connection is stable before proceeding.
Once the program is ready, insert the key into the ignition lock, and you'll hear the locking sound, indicating the emulator has started functioning. The data is then written to the emulator.
After the writing process is completed, we need to check whether the emulator was successfully activated. Upon inserting the key, there should be an unlocking sound, confirming the lock system was deactivated. At this point, the car's ignition system should function even with a weak battery.
After inserting the key and turning on the ignition, the system should show that the process has been completed successfully, and the car should start. This confirms that the emulator is correctly set up and functioning properly.
