Method 1: Check the Red Clips & Grooves
Encrypted Module (Use Yanhua R7F701401-TOYOTA-B Board):
➔ Red clips and grooves are parallel
Non-Encrypted Module (Use Yanhua Toyota R7F701401 Unencrypted Interface Board):
➔ Red clips and grooves are not parallel
Method 2: Specific Dashboard Models
The Toyota R7F701401 dashboard type below is confirmed encrypted and requires the Yanhua ACDP Module 35 R7F701401-TOYOTA Interface Board.

Installation Steps:
1.Unlock the Latch
Push the latch to “Unlock” and align the board using thumb screws
2.Locate Positioning Holes
Identify D1–D4 holes on the odometer
3.Test Point Pin Definition
4.Align & Secure
Match thumb screws to odometer holes and seat D1/D2 pins
5.Lock the Board
Press down firmly, tighten screws, and slide the latch to “Lock”
