APPRO2 has released a major update for its key programmer, adding a new key cloning capability for BMW G/U chassis vehicles equipped with BDC03 or BCP systems. This upgrade, introduced in October 2025, provides expanded functionality for automotive technicians and locksmiths.
Update Highlights:
Cost: The BDC3 cloning feature is offered as a free update to all existing users with an active FN0050 BDC2 license, which is included in both the Standard and Full versions of APPRO2.
Supported Chip: NXP_53B65 (part of the NXP NCF29Ax series).
Vehicle Compatibility: Works with BMW models from 2020 to 2024 that use BDC03 or BCP systems.
Key Compatibility:
✅ Supports cloning of original keys marked "Hungary"
❌ Does not support keys labeled "Mexico" (due to system restrictions)
Requirements and Notes:
You can use an original BMW G key or an APPRO2-specific BMW G key for cloning.
Important: Ensure the key battery is removed before starting the process.
This cloning function does not provide an emergency start option.
A clear wiring diagram is included in the APPRO2 software to help with connections.
